General Human Anatomy
This General Human Anatomy course is an introduction to Human Anatomy for general science, clinical and allied health, pre-medicine, pre-dentistry, and other undergraduate and community college level students as well as advanced high school and vocational-technical students preparing for health professions. The course covers each system of the body including integumentary, skeletal, muscular, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, nervous, endocrine, reproductive and developmental, and surface anatomy. About the author:
Dr. John Campbell
Dr. John Campbell has been an adjunct professor for several years. He was formerly Section Chief for Speech Pathology in Audiology-Speech Pathology Services at a Federal acute care hospital in Oklahoma City where he diagnosed and treated inpatients and outpatients in all areas of the hospital including intensive care units, extended care and geriatric medicine, medical wards, and psychiatric ward as well as the outpatient clinics of Speech Pathology. Dr. Campbell is an anatomist with a PhD from the OU College of Medicine, MS in Speech Pathology from OU College of Allied Health, and holds an MBA in business administration. He has practiced as a speech language pathologist since 1997 and has previous experience in technology transfer and commercial development of advanced technology. Dr. Campbell holds state licensure for secondary school speech pathology practice as well as a state teaching license in biology, zoology, and anatomy & physiology. Dr. Campbell has taught anatomy and physiology, head and neck anatomy, oral histology, gross anatomy, human histology, geriatrics, biology of human aging, scientific writing, clinical neuroscience, and healthcare management and administration in online courses across a number of program areas at educational institutions.
